Principal Designer & CDM Consultants from the South West

Maddalena set up Collaton Safety in 2007. Maddalena was originally a computer programmer working for various companies which included payroll, sales ledgers and purchase ledgers. She also studied economics and Certificate in Education as a mature student in 1998 and became a trainer for many years. Maddalena’s main role within Collaton Safety is finance.

Maddalena holds the NEBOSH qualification. She has also qualified as a Quality Management Auditor and performs internal audits for clients as well as writing complete Quality Management procedures to ISO19001 standards.

Nicola has worked for Collaton Safety since it was formed in 2007. She started as an administrator and has progressed through the company until she was made a Managing Director in 2019. She has over 10 years experience in all aspects of administration, project management and office management.

Nicola is an expert in all areas of Health and Safety documentation including compilation of Health and Safety files and all Pre Construction information. She also manages the office on a day to day basis and is responsible for all human resources.

Danielle has worked for Collaton Safety since 2015. Danielle has various roles within the company as the Associate Director.  She has over 12 years experience within the construction industry.

Danielle carries out the role of Business/Project Management along with Site Safety Inspections and CDM Assistance.

Danielle holds the NEBOSH General Certificate and is working towards the NEBOSH National Fire Certificate. She is also a technical member of the IOSH and an associate member of the APS.

Peter joined Collaton Safety in 2021 as the senior Principal Designer. He has over 19 years experience and worked predominantly in the Construction Industry. Peter has worked for array companies throughout the UK. He has gained vast knowledge from previous project including Student Accommodation, Hospitals, Schools, Heritage and traditional & commercial builds.

Peter holds the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. He has also holds a NVQ 4 Occupational Health and Safety Practice and the NEBOSH National General Certificate.

He is a Chartered Member of The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH). Incorporated Member of the Association for Project safety (IMaPS) and a Member of The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (MIIRSM).

Jennifer has worked for Collaton Safety since 2015 and is one of our Health and Safety consultants. She has over 10 years experience working in engineering and construction industries. Jennifer carries out Health and Safety Inspections, compiles Health and Safety files and can assist with SSIP registration. She can also assist with all other aspects of health and safety documentation.

Jennifer holds the NEBOSH Certificate in Construction and a NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.  She is also an Graduate member of The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (GradIOSH).

Deborah has worked for Collaton Safety since 2013 and is an experienced Personal Assistant and Administrator. Deborah is responsible for assisting the directors as well as undertaking all main administration duties. She has a vast knowledge of all health and safety documentation.
