Collaton Safety offer a complete service to clients involved in all types of work from demolition through to new build and refurbishment and High-risk projects. Collaton Safety can provide Principal Designer-BSA services to projects of any size. We can provide the following:
- Advice and assistance to clients to ensure they are fully aware of their duties and meet their obligations
- Competence checks on designers, contractors and subcontractors prior to them being appointed on behalf of the Client
- Plan, manage and monitor the design work
- Ensure the design and build comply with building regulations
- Production of pre-construction information to designers and contractors
- Ensure the designer, cooperate, communicate and coordinate their work with the Client, the Principal Contractor, and other designers
- Liaise with the Principal Contractor
- Share information relevant to the building work
- Preparation of health and safety file at the end of the project covering all major health and safety issues as part of the’ Golden Thread’
